(Lansing, MI) — Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is seeking more information on the purchase by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of a Romulus warehouse. She filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records on that purchase and the plans to convert it into a detention center near the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
Nessel also sent a letter to ICE and U.S. Department of Homeland Security over concerns about the lack of transparency about their activities.
