Grand Haven’s Paisley Pig closing

Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) –  The Paisley Pig announced Wednesday that it will permanently shut down on March 29. The gastropub opened in 2017 on Miller Drive and became known for its wood-fired pizzas, handcrafted cocktails, gourmet burgers and other comfort food favorites made with locally sourced ingredients.

Owners Josh and Katie Sandberg say the decision wasn’t easy. In a social media post, they cited high labor costs and a significant increase in the cost of goods, saying it’s become financially impossible to keep the restaurant open.

They chose a closing date at the end of the month to give customers time to use gift cards and to allow staff to find new jobs.

The Paisley Pig is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended hours until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
