(Washington, DC) – President Donald Trump has signed his fourth emergency order to keep the J.H. Campbell coal-fired power plant operating in Ottawa County. The latest order keeps the plant running through May 18th.

Consumers Energy has wanted to close the plant down, but Trump’s emergency order says a shortage of electric energy exists in the Midwest and the plant is still needed.
