(Grand Rapids, MI) – Construction is beginning this year on a new skybridge in Grand Rapids. This bridge will connect visitors of the new Amway Stadium to a nearby parking garage. The project is currently in its construction design phase, with actual construction starting between the spring and summer of this year. The walkway aims to “provide a safe way for pedestrians to walk between the YMCA and GVSU’s parking garage.”
The Grand Rapids Planning Commission approved the construction for the bridge in March 2025.
