(Washington, DC) – Michigan’s National All-Domain Warfighting Center has been chosen as the site the federal government will use to test drones and train operators. U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin says the designation in northern Michigan will further establish the state “as America’s defense innovation hub.” It is the largest joint training range east of the Mississippi River and hosts the National Guard Bureau’s annual Northern Strike Exercise at Camp Grayling.

Most of the state’s bipartisan Congressional delegation supported bringing the testing and training systems to Michigan.
