(Traverse City, MI) – Most of the high-profile candidates for governor will be at the annual Northern Michigan Policy Conference on January 23rd. It will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme, outside of Traverse City. Democrats Jocelyn Benson and Garlin Gilchrist the Second have RSVPed, as have Republicans Aric Nesbitt, Mike Cox, and Tom Leonard, and independent candidate Mike Duggan will be there.
Republican Congressman John James has been invited, but has not confirmed if he will attend.
