(Kent County, MI) – The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is preparing for a busy few weeks of travel. The airport says it expects to have more than 190-thousand passengers fly in and out of the airport between this weekend and New Years. The airport has already had a record-setting year, surpassing four-million passengers who traveled through the airport last year.
With the increase in travelers, flyers are urged to check their flight status before arriving at the airport and to arrive early for their flights.
