(St. Ignace, MI) – The Mackinac Bridge is back open. The Mackinac Bridge Authority closed the five-mile span between the Lower and Upper Peninsulas last night just after 8 p.m. for what they called an “active situation.” The bridge re-opened just before 10 p.m.
No details have been released about what the active situation involved.
