Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Stage at The Corner, Muskegon’s newest all-ages entertainment venue, and The Actors Workshop of West Michigan, a local repertory and training
theater company devoted to classical texts for adults and children, are partnering for the holidays this season.
The Actors Workshop of West Michigan continues the holiday spirit by presenting a live stage production of THE VELVETEEN RABBIT by Margery Williams, adapted for the stage by Scott
Davidson, produced by special arrangement by Pioneer Drama Services, Englewood CO on the Stage at the Corner. One Christmas morning a young boy receives a stuffed velveteen rabbit
and over time, the love of the Boy and the Velveteen Rabbit becomes Real and ageless.

The production features area adult actors performing for children, with live music by Scott Wright and the company. Singers from the Muskegon Chamber Choir will provide festive holiday carols at the beginning of the program. Dec 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th at 7:00 pm, matinees Dec 13th and 14th at 1:00 pm.
