Attorney General Raises Concerns About AI Data Center

(Saline Township, MI) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says she has concerns about the massive artificial intelligence data center planned for Saline Township. She is accusing DTE Energy of trying to fast-track the process to get the Michigan Public Service Commission to approve a special contract with the vote set to take place Friday. Nessel says the utility is not being transparent by saying customers won’t be impacted by increased bills with the project that will need at least 500-million-dollars in infrastructure.

She says her office is concerned about a precedent being set by the project.
