(Lansing, MI) – An actuarial study has found Michigan drivers are saving 357 dollars on average on auto insurance since reforms were made to the state’s no-fault insurance law in 2019. That is a drop of 18-point-eight percent and even people who kept their unlimited medical coverage have saved money because the new law lowered the charge for the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association fund.
Wayne County drivers have saved the most money, with their premiums falling an average of 539 dollars per vehicle for their personal injury protection, or PIP, premiums.
