(East Lansing, MI) – Michigan State has named its next head football coach, Pat Fitzgerald. The announcement was made yesterday by MSU Vice President and Director of Athletics J. Batt. Fitzgerald will be introduced as the program’s 27th head coach at a press conference scheduled for today at 3 p.m.
In 17 seasons as Northwestern’s head coach, Fitzgerald notched 110 wins, led the team to ten bowl games, and won two Big Ten West Division titles in 2018 and 2020.
