(Hudsonville, MI) – A 2025 Hudsonville High School graduate who was shot in July in Alabama is now facing a charge of possessing a Glock switch to turn a handgun into a machine gun. Ethan Carter turned himself in to police yesterday after learning of the charge, was arraigned, pled not guilty, and was released on bond.
His shooting July 12th happened when he was legally buying a Glock gun and was robbed and shot. Carter was in Alabama for football training and had committed to playing the sport for Davenport University.
