OLIVE TOWNSHIP, MI (WGHN) –  Two people were injured in a crash that closed 120th Avenue for several hours Friday afternoon just after 2:00 p.m.

Deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office say a 37-year-old West Olive woman was headed east on Stanton Street in a GMC Suburban when she failed to stop at the stop sign at 120th. Her vehicle was hit by a Saturn driven by a 41-year-old Holland woman, causing the Suburban to roll onto its side.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. A 9-year-old passenger in the Suburban was treated at the scene and did not need hospitalization.

The crash remains under investigation.
