Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Two suspects have been charged in connection to an armed robbery that led to a high-speed police chase across West Michigan last week. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Jose Rosales-Torres of Holland and a 16-year-old male were arraigned Friday in Grand Haven’s 58th District Court.

Rosales-Torres faces charges of armed robbery and fleeing and eluding police. The 16-year-old is charged with armed robbery, felonious assault, and felony firearms. He’s not being identified because he’s a minor.

Both suspects are being held on $350,000 bond.

Deputies say the pair robbed the West Olive One-Stop on West Olive Road Wednesday night, holding a clerk at gunpoint before taking merchandise and fleeing.

The suspects’ vehicle was later spotted in Allendale Township, leading to a police chase into Kent County. The car was eventually found abandoned, and two of the three suspects were taken into custody. A 17-year-old who was with them was later turned over to his parents.
