Olive Twp., MI (WGHN) – A 29-year-old Holland man was injured early Tuesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a deer in Ottawa County. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 5:59 a.m. near the intersection of Polk Street and 108th Avenue. Authorities say the motorcyclist was heading east on Polk Street when a deer entered the roadway, resulting in a collision. Deputies responded to the scene and found the rider with injuries to his arms and legs. He was transported by AMR Ambulance to Zeeland Hospital for treatment. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
