(Zeeland, MI) –Plans for Mead Johnson to expand its infant formula plant in Zeeland are advancing. On Thursday, the Zeeland Planning Commission recommended approval for rezoning two properties on East Main Avenue. The 836-million-dollar project would see eight townhomes and one single family home demolished and zoning of the land switched from residential to industrial.
Wood TV 8 reports that the plans will now head to Zeeland City Council for final approval.
