(Grandville, MI) – Michigan State Police say the 16-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 196 in Grandville on Saturday was intentionally in the roadway. Troopers are still investigating his death that happened on eastbound I-196 near the 44th Street overpass. They are urging anyone who is feeling like ending their life to call either 9-8-8 or 800-273-8255 for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
The teen’s name has not been released.
