(Grand Rapids, MI) – A protest called “No ICE in GR” brought demonstrators to Grand Rapids City Hall yesterday to join nationwide protests of the Trump administration’s immigration policies. For Ana Ramirez, who has lived in the city over 20 years and is a DACA recipient, it is personal for her. She is scared about her future, the future of her children, and the rest of her family.
The protesters were planning to speak at the Grand Rapids City Commission meeting last night, but the meeting was canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
