Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Area Public Schools is making more staff changes. Earlier this week, they announced the appointment of Brad Cusumano as the new Principal of Lakeshore Middle School.
Following this exciting development, we wanted to share some additional administrative updates:
-

Having spent time as a high school math teacher, varsity hockey coach, and, most recently, as the school’s assistant athletic director, he brings a wealth of instructional insight, strong relationships, and leadership experience to his new role.
-
Aaron Dean will step into the position of Assistant Athletic Director at Grand Haven High School. A valued member of the district for 25 years, Aaron has taught across multiple grade levels and most recently served as Assistant Principal at Lakeshore Middle School. He is also well known for his outstanding tenure as head coach for the Grand Haven soccer program, which he helped build into one of the top programs in the state. His continued involvement in local soccer development highlights his ongoing commitment to student growth both in and out of the classroom.
These administrative changes are thoughtfully aligned with the district’s evolving strategic vision. As they prepare to launch our new strategic plan, it is essential to have strong leadership in place—leaders who share a commitment to student-centered learning, collaborative decision-making, and continuous improvement. These shifts position us for long-term success and growth.
