(Lansing, MI) – The cost to build a Honda Civic and other similar cars in the United States is up an estimated two-thousand-dollars according to an analysis from the Anderson Economic Group. They say for a full-size SUV like the Land Rover, the cost is up 12-thousand-dollars with the increases coming from President Trump’s 25-percent tariffs on all imported autos and auto parts.
Trump has reduced the tariff costs for some vehicles built in the U.S., but did not eliminate the tariff for vehicles built in other countries.
