Poll Finds 78% Of Michiganders Want Constitutional Amendment Ending Presidential Immunity

(Lansing, MI) – An overwhelming majority of Michiganders support an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to end presidential immunity. A poll by EPIC-MRA finds 78-percent favor the amendment and 59-percent “strongly support” it.

A constitutional amendment is the only way to override a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court last year that said presidents are immune from prosecution for any crimes they commit in the course of their official duties.
