(Grand Rapids, MI) – The nonprofit group Grand Action 2.0 is proposing a skybridge to connect the Grand Rapids YMCA and Grand Valley State University’s Seward Parking Lot. The idea is being floated to help ease parking concerns in the area with the Amway Stadium in the works next door to the YMCA. Members of the YMCA will be allowed to park for free at the GVSU lot and the skybridge would make getting to the facility much easier and quicker.
Grand Action 2.0 has not given a cost estimate yet and the Grand Rapids planning commission will discuss the idea at its March 13 meeting.
