(Grand Rapids, MI) – Visitors are being limited at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital because of a high number of patients being treated for respiratory illnesses. Officials say that only two people will be allowed in a patient’s room during the day, and one person allowed overnight. The new policy is effective immediately.

Healthcare workers are urging people to make sure they’re updated on their vaccinations when it comes to respiratory illnesses like COVID, flu and whooping cough.
