(Fruitport Township, MI) – Police say they’re not ruling out that this week’s attack on a manufacturing company CEO was a copycat attack based on the UnitedHealthcare CEO. Investigators say they’re looking for the motive behind Tuesday’s attack at Anderson Express in Fruitport Township. The city’s police chief says they are pouring over suspect Nathan Mahoney’s social media accounts, looking to see what he’s said in the past. Police say Mahoney stabbed Anderson’s president in the side. Mahoney had only been with the company for two weeks.
He’s now being held on a half-million dollars bond on assault with intent to murder charges.
