(Olive Township, MI) – Ottawa County Administrator Jon Anderson has resigned from the job for the second time, and this resignation is immediate. Anderson resigned Sunday night and did not give a reason. He had previously submitted his resignation in September with a date to leave the position on October 4th, but the board of commissioners passed a resolution to keep him on through the end of 2024. Anderson took the interim administrator position in March of this year after the county fired John Gibbs from the role.
The Executive Transition Committee made up of Ottawa Impact commissioners have hired W Talent Solutions in Grand Rapids to help with the search.
