(Meyers Beach, WI) – The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued eight kayakers from Lake Superior this weekend. The Coast Guard’s Bayfield Station received a report that two kayakers had capsized off the coast of Meyers Beach in Wisconsin and they rescued both of them. The other six were also taken onboard the rescue boat as they were not sure if they would be able to safely make it back to shore.
No one was injured.
