(ZEELAND TOWNSHIP)-An 86-year-old Grand Haven woman is hospitalized and listed in critical condition following a two-car accident in Zeeland Township this afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department says the victim was a passenger in a westbound SUV on Adams Street around noon when the vehicle slowed to turn south onto 84th Ave.
As the SUV turned, it pulled into the path of an oncoming jeep and crashed.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries while the jeep operator was unharmed.
The Grand Haven native was transported to Grand Rapids via Aero-Med. This crash remains under investigation.
