(Muskegon, MI) – Three people were injured in yesterday morning’s storm in west Michigan. One was hurt in a crash near Whitehall on US-31, another was jogging in Muskegon County when they were hit with a falling branch, and the third was hospitalized after they were also jogging in Grand Haven and were hit with a falling branch.
“It was freaky. All of a sudden a tree hit the house.”
Those people describe the storm as being similar to a hurricane as it knocked down trees in a neighborhood in Muskegon. A storage building at a marina off of Ruddiman Drive on the north side of Muskegon Lake was completely destroyed.
