(Detroit, MI) – General Motors is leaving the Renaissance Center along the Detroit River and moving their global headquarters to the Hudson’s site. GM has owned the Renaissance Center since the mid-1990s and its future is not yet clear. Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan says there are plenty of options from residential to office to retail and those will be worked out over the next year.
Architects not associated with the project say tearing down the skyscrapers is the least-expensive option.
