(Muskegon, MI) – Ottawa County is not going to pay Administrative Health Officer Adeline Hambley four-million-dollars to leave her job. A judge ruled the county is not bound to the settlement that Hambley and her attorney Sarah Howard thought they agreed to on November 6. Howard says the county backed out of the deal after seeing negative public response to it.
Ottawa County attorney David Kallman was pleased with the ruling and says they will negotiate a new deal.
