(Grand Rapids, MI) – Grand Action executive director Kara Wood says they have received interest from both Major League Soccer and the United Soccer League to launch an expansion team if they have plans for a stadium well underway. Where it would be built has not been decided and the area near the YWCA near Pearl Street and US-131 remains one option. Wood says they have several areas around downtown under consideration.
Renderings of a stadium have been released by Progressive AE Incorporated showing possible basic features of the structure.
