(Grand Haven, MI)-After 32 years in coaching, including two stints at Grand Haven High School (2006-2013 & 2020-2022), Coach Mike Farley is hanging up the whistle. In a Facebook post released today (2/21/23), Coach Farley announced he was stepping down as Buccaneer football coach. Farley thanked his family, players, school administrators, and mentors for supporting him in chasing his dream. In his statement, he says he will continue teaching at Grand Haven High School and also work with the strength and conditioning program.
Coach Mike Farley’s Career Record at GHHS is 48-53 with playoff appearances in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2020.
