Jamestown Twp., MI (WGHN) –  Two children suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at an intersection in Jamestown Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Township Fire Department and LIFE EMS responded around 4:04 p.m. to a crash at 40th Avenue and Greenly Street.

According to the sheriff’s office, a 69-year-old Hudsonville woman was traveling westbound on Greenly Street in a 2021 Nissan Rogue when she failed to stop at the stop sign at 40th Avenue.

Her vehicle struck a southbound 2019 Honda Odyssey driven by a 36-year-old Zeeland woman.

The collision forced the Honda off the west side of 40th Avenue and into a ditch.

Neither driver was injured. Two of the four children riding in the Honda were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
