(East Lansing, MI) – A poll by Michigan State University’s Institute for Public Policy shows Democrat Jocelyn Benson with a 53-point-three-percent to 40-point-nine-percent lead over Republican John James in the race for governor. In the U.S. Senate race, MSU pollsters say Democrat Abdul El-Sayed has a slight lead over Republican Mike Rogers, 48-percent to 45-point-five-percent. He had led Rogers by five-point-five-percent in the August poll, and Benson had a nine-percent lead then compared to her nearly 13-percent lead now.
Early in-person voting in Michigan is already underway.
