(Lansing, MI) – A new poll from Marketing Resource Group shows voters are in favor of Proposal 2 to restrict political contributions from regulated utilities and certain government contractors. That proposal has 63-percent support, with 16-percent opposed and 22-percent undecided. Proposal 1 to require a state constitutional convention be held in 2027, however, has just 31-percent support and 49-percent are opposed. Twenty-percent say they are undecided on that proposal.
The state constitutional convention question is asked every 16 years.
