(New York, NY) – Wednesday marks the third anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel, launched from Gaza, that resulted in more than 12-hundred deaths, several hundred kidnappings and a worldwide uptick in antisemitism. Yael Eckstein is President of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Eckstein says, “There is nowhere in the world that Jews are safe right now,” but also points out that there’s been an increase in attacks on churches, as well as synagogues.
Eckstein believes that, “Once there’s hatred towards Jews that’s not contained, everyone is at risk.” As for Gaza, she believes it needs to be freed from Hamas, claiming that Hamas “educates the children to kill and to hate and to be suicide bombers.” As Eckstein says on this anniversary of October 7th, “Free Gaza from Hamas and let the Palestinian people live in peace.”
