Allendale, MI (WGHN) – Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Allendale.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. at 64th Avenue and Pierce Street.Investigators say a Lexus SUV traveling west on Pierce Street pulled into the path of a northbound Jeep SUV.
The Jeep was driven by a 14-year-old Hudsonville girl. Her 51-year-old father was a passenger. The Jeep left the roadway and crashed into a residence. The girl and her father were trapped inside and had to be removed by Allendale Township firefighters.
Both were taken to the hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. The 69-year-old driver of the Lexus, an Allendale man, was also hospitalized and is listed in serious condition.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
