(Holland Township, MI) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies say a 62-year-old woman has been killed in a crash Tuesday night in Holland Township, and several other people were injured. The crash happened just before 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of James Street and Butternut Avenue between a GMC and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Deputies say the GMC was northwest on Butternut Avenue at a “high rate of speed” when the Jeep was making a left turn onto James Street.
The woman who died was a passenger in the Jeep, and the driver of that SUV, a 62-year-old male passenger and a one-year-old, are hospitalized and a 22-year-old passenger was not hurt. The GMC driver was not hurt
