(Undated) – The Patriots Day Freedom Fest is being called off. The event was scheduled for September 26th in Morning View, Kentucky. The non-traditional music festival was supposed to feature a selection of Republican-leaning speakers, including Kid Rock, reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter, and U.S. Congressman James Comer. The festival reportedly only sold six VIP tickets, which were priced at one-thousand-dollars, while general admission was going to be free. Eric Deters, the event organizer, said he planned to pay for the event with VIP ticket sales from 100 people he interacts with on a regular basis.
In a post on social media, he swore he would never do this event again and added “none of these people will ever, ever get a favor from me again.”
