Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Public Safety is investigating the death of a person who was reported missing Tuesday afternoon. Investigators developed leads indicating the person may have been in Oceana County and worked with the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office to locate them. On Wednesday, Grand Haven Public Safety was notified that Pentwater Police had located a vehicle and an individual believed to be connected to the investigation.
Grand Haven Public Safety says it is saddened by the outcome and is offering condolences to the person’s family, friends and others affected.
No further information is being released at this time out of respect for the family.
