(Detroit, MI) – The Michigan Senate race looks to be a tight one between Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers. That’s according to a poll by WDIV-TV and the Detroit News. It found Rogers has a slight lead over El-Sayed but within the margin of error of four percentage points.
The race is in a key state for November’s midterm elections to replace outgoing Democrat Gary Peters, and it represents the GOP’s most likely opportunity to pick up a seat.
