(Grand Rapids, MI) — The new school year has begun and Michigan State University President Kevin Guskiewicz [[ GUSS’-kih-wits ]] is looking forward to the upcoming football season that kicks off Friday. He announced on May 27th that he was leaving the university to become president of Clemson University, citing friction with the M-S-U Board of Trustees. But Guskiewicz changed his mind and announced on July 6th he was staying at Michigan State.
Michigan State University President Kevin Guskiewicz also talked about the start of the Spartans’ football season on Friday night and new head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
