Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) – A former dean of students at Walden Green Montessori will spend at least 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a child.
Thirty-eight-year-old Charles Martin Freeman was sentenced Friday to 25 to 40 years in prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Freeman, who lived in Spring Lake Township, admitted to sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 between 2024 and 2026 says the Grand Haven Tribune. He will also face lifetime electronic monitoring upon his release and must register as a sex offender.
Freeman served as dean of students at Walden Green Montessori until he was fired earlier this year.
