(Park Township, MI) – One person was rescued by the Park Township Fire Department after their boat capsized yesterday afternoon on Lake Macatawa. They were sent to the lake just before 2:45 p.m. after getting a call about a boat overturning and someone being seen “in distress” in the lake. When they arrived, firefighters confirmed the boat had been righted and the person was standing in waist-deep water.
They were brought to shore uninjured.
