Road Closure: 152nd Ave., James St. to W. Lakewood Blvd., Park Twp., begins Aug. 25
WHAT: Permitted Road Closure
WHEN: Beginning Aug. 25, 2026
WHERE: 152nd Ave., James St. to W. Lakewood Blvd., Park Twp.
WHY: Water Main work
BACKGROUND: 152nd Avenue between James Street and W. Lakewood Blvd. in Park Township will be closed beginning August 25, 2026, for permitted water main work.
This closure should last through August 28, 2026. Please note that all dates are tentative, and work is weather dependent.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: The detour route is James St. to 144th Ave. to W. Lakewood Blvd.
Road Closure: 152nd Ave., Blair St. to Tyler St., Port Sheldon Twp., begins Aug. 25
WHAT: Road Closure
WHEN: Beginning August 25, 2026
WHERE: 152nd Ave., Blair St. to Tyler St., Port Sheldon Twp.
WHY: Culvert Replacement
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ottawa County Road Commission will be closing 152nd Ave. between Blair St. and Tyler St. in Port Sheldon Township for culvert replacement work.
This project is expected to last through September 3, 2026. Please note that all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: A detour route will consist of Blair St. to 144th Ave. to Tyler St.
Road Resurfacing: Butternut Dr., Lakewood Blvd. to Riley St., Holland Twp., begins Aug. 24
WHEN: Beginning August 24, 2026
WHERE: Butternut Dr., Lakewood Blvd. to Riley St., Holland Twp.
WHY: Road Resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Beginning August 24, 2026, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission are expected to begin work on a resurfacing project on Butternut Drive between Lakewood Boulevard and Riley Street in Holland Township.
Work on this project is expected to last through early October, however, please note that all work is weather-dependent, and completion dates are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Traffic will be maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area while work is taking place.
Road Resurfacing: 28th Ave., Hudsonville City Limits to Bauer Rd., Georgetown Twp., begins Aug. 24

BACKGROUND: Beginning August 24, 2026, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission are expected to begin work on a resurfacing project on 28th Avenue between Hudsonville City Limits and Bauer Road in Georgetown Township.
