Wildfires Burn Across The West

(Burbank, CA) – Wildfires are burning millions of acres across the West. In Oregon, the National Guard has been deployed to help fight the Grasshopper Fire, which has grown to 54-thousand acres near Mount Hood. In southern Oregon, one man has died battling the Wrights Spring Fire in Klamath County. Over two-million acres have burned across Oregon so far this summer. In southern California, fire crews have been battling to keep a wildfire from destroying homes near Burbank.

And north of the border, thousands have been ordered to evacuate in British Columbia, where a fast-moving wildfire has nearly doubled in size overnight.
