Grand Haven Twp., MI (WGHN) – A 73-year-old Holland man is critically injured after a pickup truck pulled into the path of his motorcycle Saturday morning. The crash happened around 11 a.m. on northbound US-31 near 152nd Avenue.
Ottawa County Sheriff deputies say a 46-year-old West Olive man was driving a pickup truck with a trailer when he entered the motorcycle’s path. The motorcyclist laid the bike down and slid into the side of the truck.
He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The pickup driver was not hurt.
Northbound US-31 was temporarily closed while deputies investigated but has since reopened.
