(Lansing, MI) – Planned Parenthood has closed health centers in Lansing, Livonia and Warren as part of a statewide restructuring. The organization says the closures follow a four-point-two-million-dollar drop in reimbursements and federal funding, along with five-point-six-million dollars in uncompensated and undercompensated care. Planned Parenthood says it will concentrate services at its remaining Michigan clinics and expand virtual care.
Three other locations in the state also closed earlier this year.
