Robinson Twp., MI (WGHN) – A 24-year-old Allendale man suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash Wednesday night in Robinson Township.
The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. on 104th Avenue near Buchanan Street. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving a Subaru southbound when he passed several vehicles, then slowed and moved toward the shoulder. As the Subaru was pulling over, a southbound Chevrolet Silverado attempted to pass. The two vehicles collided, causing the Subaru to roll several times.
The Subaru driver was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Deputies said he was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver and passenger of the Silverado were not hurt.
104th Avenue was closed for about three hours while deputies investigated the crash. The roadway has since reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
